Kathleen M. Leonard, 70, of Dumfries, VA passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Sentara Hospital in Woodbridge, VA.

Born in Lebanon on January 16, 1952, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Jerome and Evelyn (Hanner) Leonard.

She was a 1970 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and a long time resident of Lebanon. Kathleen worked as a registered nurse for Cedar Haven Nursing Home for 35 years. She enjoyed reading, bingo, puzzles, and playing Skip Bo with her sisters.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Hillary A. Groth and her husband, Michael; two grandchildren, Michael "MJ" Groth and Faith Groth; three sisters - Julie B. Leonard, Stephanie A. Fields and her husband, Stephen, and Carolyn F. Leonard; her four legged friends, Frankie & Bunny, and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 10-11am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 12th at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street in Lebanon. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen's name may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
