Julian N.
Selman
Nov 18, 2004 — Feb 6, 2023
Julian N. Selman, 18, of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 6, 2023. Born and raised in Lebanon, he is the son of Stephen N. and Jennifer M. (Iceman) Selman.
Julian was full of life. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that was infectious. His family and friends describe him as funny, enthusiastic, respectful, and kind. From the time Julian was a child, he excelled at sports - teeball, baseball, and eventually basketball for most of his life. Julian's athleticism earned him a spot on Cedar Crest's lacrosse team as an 8th grader. Throughout high school, football became his focus. He wore #23 proudly and was thrilled to have recently received his varsity jacket. Julian cherished the friendships he made with his teammates and considered many of them family. Whatever Julian did, he did it with fierce determination and was proud of the awards and accomplishments he earned along the way. After graduation in June, he looked forward to what would be a bright future in photography and videography with hopes of one day becoming an influencer. Everyone who knew Julian would agree that he was as gentle as he was strong. He cared deeply and loved hard and wasn't ashamed to show it. Julian's legacy of kindness and boundless love will never, ever be forgotten.
In addition to his parents, Julian is survived by a sister, Isabella Selman; a brother, Cameron Etzweiler; maternal grandparents - Donna and Chuck Kimmel and George Iceman; paternal grandfather - Stephen R. Selman III; maternal great grandfather, Robert Kimmel; paternal great grandparents - Lois and Steve Selman; two aunts - Ginger Lane and Candice Oliver; two uncles - Kyle Kimmel and Jason Iceman; five cousins - Candice Lane and Damian Phillips, Emmanuel Mason, Lyric Iceman, and Kiera Iceman; and his girlfriend, Rose Gonzalez. Julian was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, George and Frances Iceman.
