Juan S. Ortiz Franco, 92, of Sinking Spring, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehabilitaion. He was the husband of Luz Maria Ortiz Saez.

Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on August 1, 1933, Juan was a son of the late Jovita Franco. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He loved to cook and enjoyed meeting new people, his gift for conversation and connection made him a friend to many. His heart for service was evident in the countless ways he helped others. Above all, Juan loved sharing his faith and was a dedicated teacher of the word of God.

In addition to his wife, Juan is survived by eight children: Juan Ortiz, Lucy Ortiz, Liz Felbaum, Moises Ortiz, Neftali Ortitz, Abraham Ortiz, Lilian Ortiz, and Priscilla Ortiz.

A viewing will be held from 3-7 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Cramp-Hummel Funeral Home, 934 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601 and from 10AM-1PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Casa de Adoracion Revive, 1215 E. Old Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will full military honors will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
