Juan Luis Cruz Benabe, 67, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at home. He was the husband of Nancy Cruz.

Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on August 7, 1955, Juan was a son of the late Juan Cruz and Cruz Rivera Benabe. He retired from General Mills, was an avid Yankees fan, loved helping his community and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Juan is survived by three sons, Rafael L. Cruz, husband of Luz Jessica Rios, Julio L. Cruz, husband of Isabethe Casillas, and Jose L. Cruz, husband of Lisa Cruz; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Joseph, John, Julian, Liset, Alexander, and Ariana; two brothers, Julio and Arturo Cruz; six sisters, Carmen, Victoria, Emma, Haydee, Nilda, and Ruth Cruz. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

A visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery. Please share your memories with the family at our online guest book at thompsonfuneralhomelebanon.com
