Josephine M. Waltermyer, 88, of Jonestown, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at home. She was the wife of Clarence E. Waltermyer.

Born in Lebanon, PA on March 18, 1937, Josephine was a daughter of  the late Vincent and Catherine (Keevans) Agresta.  She was a 1955 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and a member of Fatima Chapel. Growing up she attended St. Mary's Church in Lebanon, PA and she also attended Mountville United Methodist Church with her family. Prior to having a family, she worked as a secretary for the government at Fort Indiantown Gap and also in California for one year. Later she worked for the Department of Children and Youth in Lebanon, PA. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was lovingly cared for at home by Just Like Family and Hospice of Central PA.

In addition to her husband, Josephine is survived by three children, Catherine Boyanowski, wife of Mark, Christine Waltermyer, and Charles Waltermyer; four grandchildren, Ben, Hannah, wife of Jordan Andino, Abby, and Anya; two great grandchildren, Jericho and Roman; her sister, Mary Harter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Francis, James, and Joseph Agresta; and a sister, Elizabeth Rhan.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers GIANT or Walmart gift cards for Josephine's husband Clarence would be appreciated.
