Josephine A. Butler, 82, of Lebanon, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Hospice and Community Care. She was the loving wife of Joel R. Butler.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 25, 1943, Josephine was a daughter of late John and Sarah (Triolo) Maestrale. Josephine was a devout Catholic who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and shopping but spending time with her three grandchildren was what she loved most. Her family will forever hold close the words she often shared with them: "I'll always be with you."

She is survived by a daughter, Gina Polito, wife of Carmen. As well as three grandchildren, Sarah, Anthony, and Isabella. Josephine was the heart of her family and will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
