Joseph A. Gerberich, 62, of Fredericksburg, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Wendy B. (May) Gerberich, to whom he was married for 33 years.

Born in Lebanon, PA on May 8, 1959, Joseph was a son of the late John and Sarah (Beicher) Gerberich. He enjoyed spending time with his family and at his cabin.

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by six children: Joshua Gerberich, husband of Joy, Jacob Gerberich, Meagan Murdoch, wife of Jared, J. Bruce Gerberich, husband of Michaela, Kelly Gerberich, J. Ross Gerberich, and grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Gerberich, husband of Dorothy and William Gerberich, husband of Shelly; two sisters, Linda Basel, wife of John and Carol Bretz wife of Frank; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, John, James, Richard, and Thomas.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 4th at Faith Baptist Church, 220 South 22nd Street, Lebanon, PA 17042. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has set up a trust fund for his youngest son, J.
