Jose A. Ortiz, 83, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on November 17, 1938, Jose was a son of the late Rafael and Santos (Colon) Ortiz.

Jose lived in Lebanon, PA since the 1970's. He started his long career in the steel industry working in the coal mines for Bethlehem Steel and later becoming a machinist for Bethlehem Steel and later Keystone Spikes, both in Lebanon, PA. He enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. He was a private person, but loved his family who all have many fond memories enjoying time together playing dominoes, playing and walking at the parks, and enjoying family picnics.

Jose is survived by three daughters: Tammy J. Allwein, wife of David, Kimberly A. Kohr, wife of Clifford, and Jennifer K. Diaz, wife of Luis; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by several siblings.
