With love and much sadness, our father, John A. Fortna, has gone home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was the husband of Mary (Andrews) Fortna.

Born in Lebanon, PA on June 12, 1939, John was a son of the late Arnold and Anna (Kleinfelter) Fortna. He was employed by Big Mike's Beverage for many years. He loved spending time at West Bay Park, Delaware with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by four children, Carl Fortna, husband of Michelle, of Fredericksburg, PA, John Fortna, Jr., of Lebanon, PA, David Fortna, husband of Audrey, of Lebanon, PA, and Michelle Fortna, fiance of Dennis Runkle, of Lititz, PA; two step-sons, Scott Via, husband of Joan, of Lebanon, PA and Jeff Via; six grandchildren, Amanda, Brett, Katie, Tasha, Trevor, and Casey; a brother, Robert Fortna; and several nephews, great grandchildren, and friends at West Bay. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Fortna and an infant sister Barbara Ann.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's name may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
