John J. Batdorf, 82, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 to be with his beloved wife, Mary Louise (Hoodac) Batdorf.

Born in Lebanon on March 11, 1939, John was a son of the late John and Christine (Arnold) Batdorf. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1960-1962 and continued in the National Guard until 1967. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family. John was a devout Catholic who served his diocese well. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.

John is survived by two sons, Christopher A. Batdorf and Frederic E. Fox, husband of Kristen; two grandchildren, Adam and Hannah; a sister, Pat Wolfe; two brothers, Joseph and Michael Batdorf; and several nieces and nephews. RIP "Pops" love from us all.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
