Jerry C. Morris, 79, of Myerstown, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at home. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. (Elliott) Morris, his wife of 55 years. Born in Lebanon on November 2, 1943, Jerry was a son of the late Claude and Florence (Lutz) Morris.

Jerry was a graduate of Myerstown High School's Class of 1961 and a faithful member of Mary Gate of Heaven Church in Myerstown. He appreciated the company of friends and family and, together with his wife and children, created memories that will last a lifetime by hosting countless get togethers in their home. Jerry enjoyed all things car related, including watching Nascar and being the proud owner of a '93 Corvette for many years. He was a devoted family man with a great work ethic who founded the family business, Elco Machine & Tool in Lebanon back in 1986, a legacy that he would be proud to know will continue under the direction of his children.

Jerry is survived by two children - Dawn M. Austin and her husband, Calvin, and Gerald Morris; five grandchildren - Casey, Chelsea, Raina, Rowan, and Taryn; two great granddaughters - Sawyer and Lacey; his brother, Larry and sister, Lori. He was preceded in death by his brother, Claude ("Toot") and sister, Romaine.

A viewing will be held from 10-11am on Tuesday, December 20th at Mary Gate of Heaven Church, 188 W. McKinley Ave, Myerstown, PA 17067. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lebanon. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
