Jeffrey P. Woelfling, 65, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at home. He shared 42 years of marriage with his wife, Melodye A. (Kughler) Woelfling and was the son of the late Francis "Fritz" and Cecilia (Grill) Woelfling.

Born and raised in Lebanon, Jeff was a 1976 graduate of Lebanon Catholic School. He worked for The Hershey Company for 45 years and, soon after, retired to South Carolina with Melodye in March of 2021. He loved Penn State football, The Washington Redskins, and golfing. Jeff had a great sense of humor and a soft spot for animals.

In addition to his wife, Jeff is survived by his two brothers - Steven and his spouse Ronnie and Mark and his spouse Kelly; two nieces and three nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7th from 9-11am at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, ( diabetes.org ), P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA  22116-7023.
