Janice L. Burkholder, age 92, passed away on Thursday December 15, 2022 at Wellspan York Hospital.

She was born October 16, 1930 to the late Lester and Eleanor (Ford) Wise. After graduating high school, Janice went to college and studied education, becoming a teacher's aide.

Janice was a member of a card club and loved playing cards. She also enjoyed socializing with friends and going to the pool. Janice had an unconditional love for everyone, in particular her family. The best part of her life was spent doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her children: James Burkholder (husband of Lynn) and Beth Miller (wife of Tom); grandchildren: Kelli Grace (wife of Andy), Kim Cuomo (wife of Ryan) and Jason Becker (husband of Nicole); eight great grandchildren and one sister, Nancy Gearhart.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her husband, George Burkholder and daughter Susan Karli.
