Janet M. (Reinhard) Kimmel, 88, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at home. She was the wife of Joseph G. Kimmel.

Born in Lebanon, PA on May 4, 1936, Janet was a daughter of the late William and Gladys (Deemer) Reinhard. She was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School, class of 1954. She enjoyed going to the beach and the Annville Cleona pool, was an avid reader, loved movies, crossword puzzles and playing trivia with her friends.

In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by five children: Karen L. Goodman, wife of Dennis, Daniel A. Leiss, husband of Dorian, Frederick J. Leiss, husband of Margi, Carol M. Nye, and Linda K. Pavone, wife of Andrew; 11 grandchildren and 2 "adopted granddaughters"; 19 great grandchildren, and one great grandchild to be; and a sister, Helen (Terry) Moore.  She is also survived by her step family, several nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Reinhard, and a great-granddaughter, Ava Leiss.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at St. Mary's Church, 2 N 8th St, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 11:30-12:30 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's name may be made to Our Lady of the Cross School, 1691 Grace Ave, Lebanon, PA 17046.
