Jane L. Arnold, 93, of Palmyra, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Londonderry Village. She was the wife of Ambrose A. "Skip" Arnold.

Born in Lebanon, PA on August 31, 1930, Jane was a daughter of the late James and Sara (Rothermel) Kauffman. She was a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School and worked as a secretary for the Lebanon County Voter Registration Office. She enjoyed knitting, reading, playing scrabble, and sewing. Jane was a member of St. Jacobs Kimmerlings Church. She loved music and sang in the church choir for many years. In her younger years she sang and performed in the Women's Barbershop Quartet "The Harmonettes" which was one of the 1st formed in the state.

In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by two daughters, Susan, wife of Thomas Poisal, and Amy, wife of the late David Nestler; three grandchildren, Christopher Poisal, husband of Kristin, Meghan Frederick, wife of Alex, and Paul Nestler; six great grandchildren, Thomas Poisal, Cayden Poisal, Tyler Poisal, Olivia Poisal, Bennett Frederick and baby Frederick; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Anne Arnold; a brother, James Kauffman, Jr.; and a sister, Dorothy Bomgardner.

A visitation will be held from 11-11:30, followed by a service 11:30am on Monday, October 9, 2023 at St. Jacobs Kimmerlings Church, 1 St Jacob's Dr, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will be at Kimmerlings Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane's name may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078.
