Harold J. Trostle, 97, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Spang Crest Manor. He was the husband of the late Nancy C. (Smith) Trostle, to whom he was married for 71 years.

Born in Avon, PA on January 15, 1925, Harold was a son of the late Raymond and Fannie (Blouch) Trostle. He was a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School and a United States Navy veteran. He proudly served during WW II in the Pacific Theater on the USS Currituck. He was an avid doubles tennis player. Harold retired from RCA and was a member of the Lebanon VFW Post 23 and Salem United Brethren Church.

He is survived by a son, Donald J. Trostle, husband of Nancy J., a daughter, Jill T. Wenrich, wife of the late George W. Wenrich II; four grandchildren, Chad E. Wenrich, Kyle D. Trostle, husband of Anne L., Christa W. Ribera, and Emily J. Trostle; five great grandchildren, Landon, Dekiah, Liam, Niko, and Kinsley; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon. Interment with full military honors will follow at Indiantown National Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11-12 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harold may be made to the Lebanon VFW Post 23, 718 Chestnut Street, Lebanon, PA 17042.
