Gordon S. Lilley Sr, 80, of Lebanon passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth Lilley (Heisey).  He was born in Lebanon on July 3. 1944 to Frank and Minerva Lilley.

Gordon is survived by his children Bradley (Margie), Gordon (Jennifer), and Christianna Lilley, his siblings Robert Lilley and Elaine Lalli (Lilley), and his grandchildren Kyle, Justin, Kerri, Cooper, Brendan, Katie, and Bertrum; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter Macey Lilley, who passed away in 2015.

Gordon served in the United States Marines and the PA National Guard. Whileserving in the Marine Corps he was awarded the Expeditionary Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Sharpshooter Badge. While in the service, he worked as an Engineer Equipment Operator as well as a Truck Crane Operator.  He served from 1961 until his discharge in 1967.

Gordon enjoyed many hobbies, including photography and poetry. He photographed local racetracks and weddings. Gordon was presented with an Editors Choice Award in 2003 and 2005 for his writings.

Gordon had many achievements in his life taking pride in all his accomplishments. His poetry and photography speak to all who had the privilege of seeing them..
