Fred G. Gassert, 62, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Lebanon, PA on January 12, 1961, Fred was a son of Edith (Mays) Gassert and the late Ralph Gassert. He was a career firefighter for the city of Lebanon for 34 years. He enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, and drinking a beer with his friends.

Frederick is survived by his mother, Edith (Mays) Gassert; fiancée of 30 years, Eva M. Knoche; his son, Jeremy G. Gassert, husband of Andrea; step-daughters Larissa M. Knoche and Megan E. Longmore, wife of Adam; five grandchildren: Chase, Aurora, Kinsley, Addy, and Sean.

A viewing will be held from 5-7 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042.
