Frederick W. Beaver, 81, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at home. He was the husband of Diana L. (Leiss) Beaver, to whom he was married for 55 years.

Born in Lebanon, PA on September 26, 1940, he was a son of the late Daniel and Miriam (Auman) Beaver. Frederick was a 1958 graduate of Lebanon High School. He was a United States Army veteran and served as a chaplain's assistant during his time. He retired from HERCO after 25 years of service and also worked as a driver for Royer's Flowers and Gifts for many years. He served as the treasurer for Bethany United Methodist Church for 30 years and for Zion United Methodist Church of Iona for 2 years. Frederick was an avid reader and history buff and enjoyed volunteering at the Lebanon Community Library.

In addition to his wife Diana, he is survived by two children, Douglas J. Beaver and his fiancée Annette M. Pettis, and Craig A. Beaver and his wife Heather; three grandchildren, Ivy, Mara, and Layla; two brothers, Larry Beaver and Donald Beaver, husband of Deborah; two sisters, Emma Litz and Madaline Hockenberry; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, James Beaver and a sister, Vivian Lowe.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 7th at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon. Interment will follow at Iona Methodist Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11 at the funeral home.
