Frederic B. Shoemaker, Sr., 83, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at Cornwall Manor. He was the husband of Joyce M. (Beard) Shoemaker.

Born in Lebanon, PA on July 31, 1938, Frederic was a son of the late Elmer and Sara (Minnich) Shoemaker. He worked for Met-Life Insurance for many years. He enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball.

In addition to his wife, Frederic is survived by two children, Frederic B. Shoemaker, Jr., husband of Marcie, and Jody Gordon, wife of Daniel; three grandchildren, Crystal, Brandon, and Courtney; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11 at the funeral home.
