Frank J. Promutico, Sr., 90, passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Spang Crest in Lebanon, PA.

Francis Joseph was born on February 16, 1934 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA to Mary (nee Dandry) and Arcangelo (Angelo) Promutico. He was raised in Lebanon and the Assumption BVM (St. Mary's) Parish Community, attending St. Mary's School until 8th Grade, and Lebanon Catholic High School, where he graduated in 1951.
In 1953 Frank enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served in the Korean conflict. He was an active member of the VFW Post 23, Lebanon, PA. Later he enlisted and retired from the 201st Red Horse Squadron, Pennsylvania Air National Guard. His service took him to numerous destinations.
After returning to Pennsylvania, Frank began a career in the Mining Industry, including Grace Mines of Morgantown, and retired as a Safety Inspector with the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, and personal hobbies. His greatest passions by far were a love of horses, thoroughbred racing, playing Golf, hunting, and trout fishing. He was an avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast, studied birds, and had a fondness for animals in general.
An unwavering sense of responsibility to his family and deep respect for his faith heritage guided Frank throughout his adult life, carrying him through any challenges he may have faced over the years.
