Francis A. Swartz, Jr., 67, of Fredericksburg, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Eileen Grogan.

Born in Renovo, Pennsylvania on October 7, 1958, Francis was a son of the late Francis Sr. and Henrietta (Heiser) Swartz. He loved trains and slot cars.

In addition to his wife, Francis is survived by his son, Terence Grogan, husband of Mariel; two grandchildren, Peter and Joanna; two sisters, Susan Swartz and Diane Hillebrand; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his three life long friends, Paul Borse, Rich Bear, and Wade Brosius.
