Ella M. Lavia, 87, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph P.  Lavia.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 16, 1937, Ella was a daughter of the late John and Ann (Matasich) Malley. She enjoyed sewing, baking, reading, and spending time with family.

Ella is survived by three children, Kathleen Hurst, wife of Brian, Joseph Lavia, fiancé of  Faith Williams, and Rebecca Stoffer, wife of Eric; four grandchildren, David Hurst, Kevin Hurst, Megan Groff, and Samantha Stoffer; six great grandchildren; her sister, Kathleen Jessen and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Malley, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:30-12:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ella's name may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N Ramona Rd, Myerstown, PA 17067.
