Elizabeth A. "Tootie" Gainer, 86, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 at her home. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Gainer. Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania on February 19, 1940, Elizabeth was a daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine (Emerich) Carpenter.

She was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan and loved to play her lottery scratch offs. She was a seamstress for Kantors in Lebanon.

She is survived by four children: Shari Gainer, Becky Davis, Sheila Gainer, and Staci Gainer; three grandchildren, Felicia Davis, wife of Wilson, Jesse Davis, and Katie Gainer; four great grandchildren, Kayli Davis, Zoey Gonzalez, SkyLahna Gonzalez, and Daphne Schwartz.

She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Gainer, her granddaughter, Kristy Gainer Schwartz; and several brothers and sisters.
