With love and much sadness our mother, Eleanor Mary (Sanchez) Koopmann, 88, native of New York, has gone home to be with her Lord and savior. She peacefully passed into heaven on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Ellie was deeply loved by her family and friends as she struggled with Parkinson's in recent years. She was a respected member of the social and business community in Lebanon for many years. In addition to her husband Neil Koopmann they worked in tandem as they welcomed, greeted, and accommodated guests from all over at the Lebanon Treadway Inn for over two decades. Ellie also owned and operated her own successful business, Windward Travel for many years. A wickedly smart lady with an infectious laugh, she was also a gracious host and amazing cook. She was a true gem, that we will all miss.

Ellie was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Sanchez. She is survived by two brothers, Robert Sans, husband of Paula and Anthony Sans, husband of Lynn; three children, Kathryn Koopmann of Largo, FL, Christopher Koopmann, of Lebanon, PA, and Mark Koopmann, of Lebanon, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Ellie will be laid to rest along side her husband Neil at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donations in Ellie's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation.
