Dr. Edward R. Morasco, 90, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday May 5, 2023 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Mary M. (O'Connell) Morasco, who passed away in January, 2022.

Born in Utica, NY on May 28, 1932, he was the son of the late Raymond and Frances (Gentile) Morasco.

Edward worked as a psychiatrist at Wernersville State Hospital and practiced Family Medicine in Cleona for many years. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, reading, caring for his animals and spending time with his family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for 37 years. His last position before retiring was the PAANG 28th Infantry Division Surgeon.

Edward is survived by five children - Siobhan wife of Tom Hetrick, Desiree Morasco, Nadine Dove, Nicole wife of Joe Ballenger and Edward R. Morasco II; five grandchildren - Gina, Maelynn, Joe Edward, Nick and Jack. He was the last of his immediate family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 11th at 11:30am at St. Paul's Church, 125 Spruce Street, Annville, PA 17003. Interment with full military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 1:30pm. Viewing hours will be held on Wednesday evening, May 10th from 6-8pm at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, 17042 and Thursday morning from 10:30 - 11:30am  at the church.
