Obituary

Dorothy L. (Berkshire) Mohl, 92, of 401 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Dorothy was the wife of the late Andrew F. Mohl.

Born in Morgantown, West Virginia on May 28, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Virginia May (Carroll) and Arthur Simpson Berkshire. She was preceded in death by sisters, Vivian and Betty Jane Berkshire, brothers, Jack and Robert Berkshire, and her sister-in-law, Audrey Berkshire Boyd.

Dorothy served in the U.S. Air Force as a communication specialist during the Korean War.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of The Church of St. Cecilia. She engaged in scout activities as a den mother, enjoyed bus trips with friends, and participated in other church events.

Dorothy is survived by her children; son, Rev. Andrew S. Mohl, daughter, Theresa M. Bordlemay and husband John, son, William F. Mohl and wife Jeanette, son, James. A. Mohl, son, Robert A. Mohl and wife Judy, daughter, Joyce A. Ernst and husband Michael, daughter, Janice P. Gerstenberg and husband Rico, son, Douglas P. Mohl and wife Angela. The grandchildren are Terri Lynn, Sophia, James, Jamie, Kaitlin, Brittany, Todd, Matthew, Benjamin, and Samuel. There are also several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, November 13th at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon: Viewing at 10:30, Mass at 11:30. Interment to follow at 1:30 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center Hospice Program, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA  17042.
