Donald M.
Yorkoski
Dec 19, 1940 — May 4, 2022
Donald M. Yorkoski, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at ManorCare. He was the husband of Judith A. (Fritz) Yorkoski, the love of his life.
Born in Hazleton on December 19, 1940, Donald was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Kulina) Yorkoski.
Donald was a member of St. Mary's Church and a 1958 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. He owned and operated Jaffey's Paint Store on Cumberland Street in Lebanon for more than 50 years. Donald was humble and unassuming. If he wasn't working at the paint shop, he was busy manicuring his lawn and making his house a home. He rarely stood still and was the epitome of a hard working guy so it comes as no surprise that respect came easily for him in his circles. Donald was generous and kind. He never once complained, not even in his last days when his sickness seemed unbearable. He and his wife Judi spent their eight and a half years of marriage side by side day after day. After attending their senior prom together and dating for more than two years, Don and Judi parted ways. In 2013, they crossed paths once again at their 55th class reunion and it seemed as though nothing had ever changed. Don jotted down his phone number and slipped it to Judi's good friend hoping she'd convince Judi to call him. And she did. Four months later they were married. Theirs was, by all accounts, a true love story.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by three step children, Lisbeth Micek, Kate Piscitelli, and Michael Egbert and his wife Angela; four step-grandchildren - Benjamin, Ava, Carly, and Amanda; two sisters - MaryAnn Barry, wife of the late Daniel Barry, and Marian Lehr and her husband Ivan; and four nieces and one nephew.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10th from 10-11am at St. Mary's Church, 2 North 8th Street, Lebanon, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements. Please share your memories with the family at our online guest book at
