Donald L. Speck, 88, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara Ann (Allwein) Speck, with whom he would have celebrated 67 years of marriage on October 27th.

Born in Lebanon, PA on October 8, 1934, Donald was a son of the late Lloyd and Mabel (Miller) Speck. He was a United States Navy veteran and enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, gardening, and taking day trips.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by a son, Brian A. Speck, husband of Brenda; two grandchildren, Marta L. Wolford, wife of Daniel and Rachel S. Speck; two great grandchildren, Abigail L. Wolford and Grace Wolford; a step granddaughter, Rebecca Lee; a step grandson, Tyler Slaybaugh; one sister, Nancy Stamm; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 followed by at service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
