Dolores M. Newman-Kern, 86, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at Stone Ridge Poplar Run in Myerstown. She was the wife of Robert J. Kern.

Born in Cornwall, PA on October 30, 1937, Dolores was a daughter of the late Michael Sr. and Ida (Gundrum) Gristick. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

In addition to her husband, Dolores is survived by her daughter, Melanie A. Newman, wife of Matthew Swaner; grandson, Ben Swaner, husband of Erin; two great grandchildren, Rela and Matthew; two brothers, George and Richard Gristick; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Gristick, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2596 Cornwall Road, Cornwall, PA 17016. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10:30-11:30 at the church.
