Dianne Louise Stott (Edkin), 76, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband, Craig, and their children, Tamara, Kyle, and Manda. Born May 16, 1949, Dianne lived a life rooted in her hometown. She left a lasting impact through her steady dedication to others.

Growing up as the oldest girl in the Edkin family of eight siblings, Dianne learned early how to care for the people around her. She briefly stepped beyond Lebanon to attend Duquesne University, where she met Craig, and the two quickly became inseparable. After completing their education, they returned to Lebanon to build a life together and raise their family.

At the heart of Dianne's life was community service. From her earliest years as a big sister and student, and later as a parent, she carried that passion into a career in aging adult care and later into service in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, always focused on helping others. She also gave her time and support to organizations such as the American Heart Association, the SARCC Foundation, and Band Together. Dianne's concern for her family, her friends and her community was deeply felt.

Dianne was the devoted wife of J. Craig Stott; the loving mother of Tamara J. Boyle (Doug), Kyle C. Stott (Carrie), and Manda L. Koss (Jon); and the proud grandmother of Cassidy R. Boyle, Abigail G. Boyle, Ethan T. Stott, Lucianna G. Stott, Joseph M. Taylor, Hanna E.Koss, Charlotte R. Koss, and Kaci L. Koss.

She was also a beloved sister of Linda Yabiku (Don), Barbara Fegan (Robert), David Edkin (Crystal), William Edkin (Jill), and Stephen Edkin (Clarissa). She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas H. Edkin and Margaret Edkin; and by her brothers Thomas J. Edkin (survived by Lynn) and Michael Edkin.

Dianne also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 2, 2026 at St. Mary's Church, 2 N 8th St, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10-11 AM at the church.
