Dennis E. McCurdy passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. He was 77.

Born on May 1, 1948, after graduating from Millersville University with a Bachelor's in Industrial Arts, he was employed as a teacher, and various other vocations before becoming a machinist, first for Turnmatic, then AMP, which later became Tyco Electronics.

After the death of his wife, he and his son Eric moved to Cleona in the late 1980's, where he resided until his passing.

In his free time and after retirement he enjoyed reading, working in his home machine shop and flying his private aircraft.

He is survived by his son Eric, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandson Sean, all of Lebanon. He is also survived by sisters Leslie, Carol and her husband Carl, Terry and her husband Robert, Nancy and her husband Richard, and his brother Kevin and his wife Naomi, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Christine, and his parents, Lester and Dorothy McCurdy.

For those who wish to send cards or flowers, the family asks instead that you volunteer your time with a charity or community organization you believe in. Dennis believed that showing up and putting in the work was more meaningful than donating money.
