Denise Thompson, 59, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away on February 13,
2026, at her home, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle
with breast cancer.

She was born in Lebanon on January 9, 1967, and was the
daughter of the late Glenn Kercher and the late Marion (Leiss) Kercher.

Denise was a 1984 graduate of Cedar Crest High School.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Andrew Thompson, and their
three children: Erin Shearer (Nathan) of Elizabethtown, Michael Thompson of
Elizabethtown, and Hanna Reardon (Robert) of Palmyra. She is also survived
by three grandchildren, Maddox Shearer, Charlee Shearer, and Presley
Reardon.

Denise's greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family, especially
her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was a devoted mother
and grandmother who was deeply loved by her family. Denise enjoyed the
beach, country music, reading, and watching reality television. She was also
an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies fan. She enjoyed
cooking and baking, particularly making her grandchildren's favorite dishes
and treats.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to
the American Cancer Society.

The family plans to hold a private celebration of life. Details will be shared at
a later date.
