Daisy Muniz, 50, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Born on February 28, 1974 to Johnny Muniz and Elba Rivera, she was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and mother who touched countless lives with her radiant smile, generous spirit, and unwavering faith. From a young age, Daisy had an unbreakable spirit, an inspiring determination, and compassionate heart that made her a light to everyone around her. She grew up in Patterson, NJ, where she was known for her kindness, laughter, and the joy she brought to every room she entered.

Daisy moved to Lebanon, PA, in December of 2000, where she became deeply involved in her community. Daisy dedicated much of her time to helping others. Her love for helping people was evident in everything she did. Friends and family often recall her contagious smile, gentle wisdom, and the countless ways she showed up for others in their times of need.

Above all, Daisy cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to Jonathan James, Vanessa James, Yaniece Chestnut, Jaier Robinson, and Nya Chestnut, who were the light of her life, and she shared an unbreakable bond with her brother Johnny Muniz. Her family meant everything to her, and her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion lives on in them.

Daisy was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Muniz and her grandson, Avion JaMari James. Daisy leaves behind a host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory, including her mom Elba Rivera, her children, Jonathan James, Vanessa James, Yaniece Chestnut, Jaier Robinson, and Nya Chestnut, her brother, Johnny Muniz, her sister-in-law, Betsey Muniz, her grandchildren, De'Andre Bourjolly, Avionna Bourjolly, Avi'ani James, Liam Peterson, Maila Peterson, and Logan Peterson; her niece, Jasmine Muniz, her nephew, Johnny Muniz II, and her extended family. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts, yet we are comforted knowing her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Revive Church, 1215 East Old Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Kimmerling's Cemetery in Lebanon.
