Clara J. Wenger, 64, of Jonestown, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was the wife of James C. Wenger, to whom she was married for 42 years.

Born in Lebanon, PA on March 6, 1957, Clara was a daughter of the late Ralph and Naomi (Keller) Patches. She was a 1975 graduate of Cedar Crest High School and worked as courier for Capital Delivery Systems. Clara enjoyed playing guitar, traveling, and going to the beach.

In addition to her husband, Clara is survived by three children, Nathan Wenger, husband of Mary, Allen Wenger, husband of Karen, and Ben Wenger, husband of Jessica; six grandchildren, Josh, Erika, Eli, Tasha, Paige, and Lenna; two brothers, Luther and David Patches; a sister, Fern Marie Pennington; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 9-11 AM on Monday, September 27th at South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Midway Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
