Christine M. Evans, 63, of Elizabethtown, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Michael F. Evans.

Born May 16, 1962, in Allentown, PA, Christine was the daughter of Patricia (Reckus) and the late James Shirato.

She was a 1980 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and spent her career in multiple quality-related fields in support of the US Navy, most recently at Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg. When not working, Christine enjoyed fishing, scrapbooking and spending time with her family, whom she cherished deeply.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Shane and Kyle Levengood and Kyle's partner, James Schauer; stepson Christopher Evans and his wife, Liz; granddaughters Emilia and Nora Evans; and sisters Carolyn Reb, wife of Thomas and Karen Arndt, wife of Raymond. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Shirato, husband of Sara.

Visitation will be held March 1, 2026, from 1–3 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
