Charles E. Gainer, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Elizabeth Ann (Carpenter) Gainer.

Born in Manheim, PA on December 27, 1938, Charles was a son of the late Clarence and Mary (Fauby) Gainer. He was a member of the Rexmont Fire Company and the Germania Band Club of Manheim. He loved going to auctions and flea markets.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by four children: Shari Gainer, Becky Davis, Sheila Gainer, and Staci Gainer; three grandchildren, Felicia Davis, wife of Wilson, Jesse Davis, and Katie Gainer; four great grandchildren, Kayli Davis, Zoey Gonzalez, Skylahna Gonzalez, and Daphe Shwartz. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Gainer; granddaughter, Kristy Gainer Schwartz; and several brothers and sisters.
