Charles P. Arnold

Charles P. Arnold of Lebanon passed away on September 4, 2026 two days shy of his 90th birthday. Born in Lebanon on September 6, 1936 to Elijah H. and Cora (Spitler) Arnold.

He is survived by his twin brother Paul, and brothers, John, husband of Gerri, Dave, and Jim, husband of Angie; sisters, Barb, Joann, wife of Ronald, and Agnes; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles graduated from Cornwall High School in 1955. He went on to work at Lebanon Packaging Co where he retired from in 2000.

Charles had a love for dancing and where there was music and a dance floor you could find him. He enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys and an avid Dodgers Fan.

Charles was a kind and loving person who always greeted everyone with a smile and a wave of his hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at St. Mary's Church, 2 N 8th St, Lebanon PA, 17046. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held prior to mass from 10-11:00 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles' name can be made to The American Cancer Society, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown MD, 21741. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
