Carol "Dolly" D. (O'Donnell) Neary, 61, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Dennis Neary. Born in Lebanon on November 22, 1960, Carol was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Georgia (Zombro) O'Donnell-Guildoo and Roy Guildoo, Jr.

Carol was a graduate of Lebanon High School's Class of 1979 and worked for several area banks as a loan officer before moving to Virginia where she worked at the Pentagon for many years - and met her husband, Dennis. After his retirement the couple moved to Florida where she was his devoted wife and caregiver until his passing. Upon returning to Lebanon, she worked part time at Iron Valley Golf Course and The Lebanon Valley Farmers Market. Dolly was very proud of her Irish heritage and loved her family. She enjoyed music, animals, cooking, and catching up with friends on Facebook.

Carol is survived by three sisters - Soundra K. Bechtel, Donna P. Carr and her husband, Clyde, Katherine L. Natale and her husband, James; two brothers - John T. O'Donnell and her twin Charles R. O'Donnell; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers - Patrick J. O'Donnell and Brian S. O'Donnell as well as a nephew-Kevin B. Bechtel.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25th at 11:00am at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, PA 17042 with a visitation from 10-11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis (stjude.org), TN 38105 or the Lebanon County Humane Society ( lebanonhumane.org ), 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
