Carmen O. Irizarry, 79, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at home. She was the wife of the late Ranverto Cheverett.

Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico on January 30, 1945, Carmen was a daughter of the late Alberto Otero and Paula Molina. She was a member of Iglesia Nuevo Nacimiento. She enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets, thrift shops, and the casino. She loved baby sitting her grandkids and hanging on her porch selling limbers to the neighborhood kids.

Carmen is survived by six children: Iris Robinson, Rico Irizarry, Delia Irizarry, Juan Irizarry, Mary Irizarry, and Roberto Cheverett; sixteen grandchildren: Xavier Cheverett, Ariana McClain, Alyssa Cheverett, Nathan Torres, Robertito Irizarry, Angel Ruiz, Levi Marrero, Chris Santiago, Celeste Robinson, Emily Irizarry, Jasmine Irizarry, Francheska Irizarry, LaCasa Rodriguez, Toccara Lindsey, Angel Benitez, and Antonio Neptire; and a host of great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Frank Irizarry and two grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, December 27th and from 9-10 AM on Saturday, December 28th at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042.
