Obituary

Brian J. O'Hearn, 83, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was the husband of Karol L. (French) O'Hearn, with whom he would have celebrated 41 years of marriage in August.

Born on April 11, 1939 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brian was the son of the late Lester and Helen (Becker) O'Hearn.

Brian was proud to have served in the United States Navy and worked in sales for nearly 15 years for the Benton Foundry until his retirement at the age of 75. Brian and his wife raised a close knit, beautiful family and treasured every moment spent together. Their beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware was their home away from home where, for twelve years, Brian and Karol worked tirelessly to create lifelong memories for everyone they hosted.

In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by three children – Coleen Ruege and her husband, Jim, Krisann Boger and her husband, Tom, and Kristian Hains and his wife, Pam; three grandchildren – Gavin, Julia, and Emma; two brothers – Gregory O'Hearn and his wife, Sue, and Les O'Hearn; and many, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew O'Hearn, his sister, Karen Mack, and his sister in law, Maureen O'Hearn.

It was Brian's wishes that his funeral services be held privately. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Wellspan Hospice, 1503 Quentin Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042 or the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 ( parkinson.org ) Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.
