Brenda Blauch, 83, of Lebanon passed away on Monday, February 7th at 12:15 at Phoenixsville Hospital. She was the wife of the late John D. Blauch. Brenda was born in Hershey on July 9th, 1938. She was one of 5 children and the daughter of Claire and Beatrice Dunk (McCorkle). She is survived by her sister, Cindy Lindsay and her brother, Kenneth Dunk. Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Klahr, her brother Stan Dunk, and her daughter, Holly Ann Blauch.

She loved roller-skating, listening to music and planting flowers, and more recently, playing Bingo with her best friend, Sarah. She also liked to shop with her daughters, read and spend time with her grandchildren. Brenda enjoyed watching football, especially the Pittsburg Steelers with John, her husband. She was not afraid to perform some favorite Patsy Cline songs or Christmas Carols in large get-togethers. She was employed at Lebanon Packaging Company and also Steffy Shoe Company for many years.

Brenda is survived by her children, John Blauch, Jr., husband of Dawn Blauch, Brenda Strauser, wife of Dennis Strauser, Bonnie Gingrich, wife of Garth Gingrich, Betty Miller, wife of Stephen Miller, and Michael Blauch, husband of Mabel Blauch. She was grandmother to Genean Gingrich, Michele McFeaters, Sheri Light, Shara Feltz, Walter Gress V, Brittney House, Brianna Blauch, Nicholas Blauch, Christopher Strauser, Todd Strauser, Elizabeth Whitman and John Blauch III.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM February 16th, followed by the service at 11:00 AM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. located at 126 S. 9th St. Lebanon, PA. Masks are required.
