Betty M. Young, 67, of Cleona, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in Hershey on November 28, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. Schreckengast.

Betty worked for many years as a pediatric home health nurse and was a member of the Annville VFW. She was a selfless and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Melissa S. Shirk, wife of Phillip, and Sherry M. Boucher, wife of Michael; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Katelyn, Maddelyn, Nathan, and Emily; two great grandchildren, Jameson and Malyah; a sister, Gerry Arnold, wife of John; and two brothers, Jeffrey and Danny Bailey.

A viewing will be held from 12-1 pm followed by a service at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon, PA.
