Barry E. Rothermel, 87, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center. Nursing Home. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Achey) Rothermel. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in September.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania on January 11, 1936, Barry was a son of the late George J. and Carrie S. (Matthes) Rothermel.

Barry graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in September of 1961. He loved being a chiropractic doctor, helping and healing his patients, which he did for 58 years. Barry enjoyed watching the Philly sports teams: Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers. He loved the outdoors including boating, fishing, golfing, and bird watching and also had a great sense of humor. Barry was quite the jokester.

In addition to his wife, Barry is survived by four children - Sharon Abbot (the late Paul Abbot) Beth Hamdan, Keith Rothermel, and Cathy Weaver and her husband, Brian, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and his brother, Michael Rothermel. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Rothermel and two grandchildren - Kevin Goshert and Karlyn DeAngelo.
