Barry E. Nolt, Sr, 82, of Cleona passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 in his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was the husband of Doris Nolt to whom he was married for 11 years.

Born in Brickerville on March 18, 1941, he was the son of the late Harold Nolt and the late Thelma Nolt. He was a 1959 graduate of Eastern Lebanon County High School. After graduation he went into the Army for 2 years. Barry worked for numerous trucking companies throughout his life until his retirement in 2006 from New Penn Motor Express.

He enjoyed spending time vacationing with his family, traveling- especially on cruises, cooking, playing cards with family and friends and he liked his beer.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his four daughters, Kristie wife of Randy Hilbert of Annville, Lori Nolt of Lebanon, Stephanie wife of Sam Uhler of Lebanon and Heather Kline of Lebanon.  Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two sisters Joan wife of Ed Miller and Linda wife of Dennis Hollinger; and sister-in-law Betsy Nolt, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife RuthAnn Nolt, mother of his 5 children, his son, Barry E. Nolt, Jr., his sister, Jean Mock, and his brother Tom Nolt.
