Audrey Lawson Shirk, 57, of Fredericksburg, PA passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. Born on June 30, 1966 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Judy Bell Lawson and the late Thomas A. Lawson.

Audrey was a proud graduate of Millersville University and spent 20 years serving as a Social Services Director in the Harrisburg area. She truly enjoyed working in nursing homes and was happiest when she was providing aid and comfort to her clients and their families. Audrey loved animals and leaves behind her precious chihuahua, "Chico" and her rescue cat, "Kitty". She cared passionately for her nieces and nephews and loved spending time with them and supporting their school and athletic events. Audrey enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, listening to all types of music (especially dance music), decorating her home, cooking for parties, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with family and friends at get togethers. Like her father, she was also an avid football fan and loved watching the Washington Commanders play.

Audrey is survived by her best friend and mother, Judy Bell Lawson, three sisters, Dora (James) Rodgers, Rose Lawson, Kimberly (Scott) Braasch, and one brother, Thomas A. (Trisha) Lawson II, nephews Luke (Melanie) Lawson, Matthew Lawson, Tyler Braasch, Brendan Braasch, nieces Deavan (Stephen Fox) Rodgers, Cassandra (Justin Nicarry) Lawson, Leaha Lawson, Nacey Lawson, Tia (Ralph) Still, great nieces Fiadh Nicarry, Isabella Still, Arianna Still, great nephews Trey Still, Jake Still, and many truly beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 10am to 12pm at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 South 9th Street, Lebanon. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey's name may be made to the Community Health Council of Lebanon for Lebanon County Crisis Intervention ( communityhealthcouncil.com ).
