April Mae Brown, 55, of Myerstown, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at Campbelltown. She was the wife of James Brown. Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, on May 13, 1970, she was a daughter of Frank and Beatrice (Felty) Dove.

April enjoyed cooking and baking, taking pride in creating meals that brought her family together. She was a dedicated school bus driver who deeply cared for the children she transported each day. April also found comfort in cleaning and keeping her home welcoming and was always willing to help anyone in need.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Liana M. Raihl, wife of Michael Raihl; Jeffery Ludwig, companion of Jessica Hedricks; and Koye Brown; six grandchildren: Alezeh, Mallery, Aleric, Abel, Myles, and Annalie; brothers: John Felty (Alice), David Felty (Cindy), Brian Felty (Ginny), Buddy Felty (Tina), Chris Felty, and Cole Dove; a sister, Linda Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Dove; her brother-in-law, Steve Brown; her stepfather, John Truax; and her stepson, Justin Brown.
