Anthony J. "Tony" Mohl, Sr., 93, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the comfort of his home. He was the husband of Marilyn L. (Hartman) Mohl whom he was united in marriage with for 72 years as of January 24, 2025. Tony served in the United States Army from 1951-1954 during the Korean Conflict. Tony retired from the Lebanon Post Office as a Postal Clerk. He owned his own TV Antennae business, and along with Marilyn they formed the Mohl Family Orchestra that performed at weddings, dances, and carnivals in Lebanon County and the surrounding areas. Tony was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed playing his accordion (especially Lady of Spain), skiing, and sharing sermons!!
Born in Lebanon, PA on June 13, 1931, Tony was the son of the late Andrew and Eva (Heinrich) Mohl. Tony was one of seven children. He was preceded in death by Magdalena, Andrew, Eva, Joseph, and John. Tony is survived by his sister Mary (Mohl) Nash.
In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by five children: Michael, husband of Vicki Stager; David partner of Linda Houser; Anthony, husband of Sharon Hocker; Rosemary, wife of Rick Felch; and Mary wife of Jeffrey Andrews. Tony has been blessed with 10 grandchildren: Jordan, Traci, Kera, Lateesha, Tahnner, Jesse, Matthew, Morgan, Cassidy, Gabrielle, and Thomas and seven great grandchildren: Logan, Leia, Landon, Rogue, River, Avelyn, and Isla. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 5-8 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S 9th St, Lebanon, PA 17042. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at St. Cecilia's Church, 120 E Lehman St, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's name may be made to Our Lady of the Cross School, 1691 Grace Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046 or Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospice, 252 S 4th St, Lebanon, PA 17042, or Seniors Helping Seniors, 264 Freeport Road, Lebanon, PA 17046.
