Anna P. Hackman, 86, of Newmanstown, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at home. She was the wife of Leon R. Hackman, to whom she was married for 65 years on February 27th.

Born in Newmanstown, PA on May 6, 1939, Anna was a daughter of the late Elmer and Florence (Nier) Weidman. She was a farmer for 65 years, she loved gardening and took great pride in her flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and was an avid collector of boyds bears, teddy bears and bear figurines.

In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by three children: Dennis Hackman, husband of Sharon, Diane Hackman, and Daryl Hackman, husband of Kim; six grandchildren: Melissa, Tyler, Robert Jr., Daryl Jr., husband of Hannah, Douglas, and Danielle, fiancée of Eric Hill; two great grandchildren, Cassidy and Waylon; and two brothers, Ronald Weidman, husband of Anita and Elmer Weidman Jr., husband of Barbara. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Weidman.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
