Ann Marie E. (Farrell) Evans, 86, formerly of Hershey, PA died Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Penn State Lancaster Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Evans, to whom she was married for 52 years. Born in Carbondale, PA on February 7, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Cyril J. Farrell and Elizabeth A. (Williams) Farrell. She was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale, PA, a graduate of Saint Rose High School, and attended Harrisburg Area Community College, Harrisburg, PA. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in Harrisburg.

She is survived by four daughters – Laurie Ann, wife of William Miller of Hummelstown, PA, Cheryl Lynn, wife of Eli Smucker of Lancaster PA, Linda Elizabeth, wife of Scott Coble of Middletown PA, and Pamela Leigh Doll of Lancaster, PA, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Michael Evans, three brothers, Donald Farrell, Walter Farrell, Paul Farrell; and two sisters, Elizabeth (Farrell) Maltese and Eleanor Farrell.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11 AM at Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 280 N. Race Street, Middletown, PA, where she was an active member. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. The Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
